Houston’s Hidden Hustle

My poetry is a reflection of personal resilience, surviving narcissistic, psychopathic, and sociopathic abuse. Through the power of words, I explore the depths of trauma, healing, and emotional recovery. These poems navigate the dark alleys of emotional abuse and mental health struggles, but also celebrate the strength it takes to rebuild and reclaim freedom. If you’re looking for poetry that captures the essence of overcoming trauma and finding empowerment, you’ll find yourself in my work.
Deathbed Confessions

First time we met, I was dying slow,
Told you my trauma, the reasons I’m low.
Still, you tried to worm into my mind,
I prayed you’d wake—claimed you are, but you’re just the blind leading the blind.
Finding Myself

In the quiet corners of my mind,
I wander lost, yet seek to find,
A flicker of truth, a spark, a light,
To guide me through this endless night.
I peel away the layers, thin and frayed,
The masks I’ve worn, the games I’ve played.
I’m Just Me

I’m just me, a patchwork of dreams,
Stitched together by time’s quiet seams.
A heart that bleeds with every beat,
Yet still I stand on weary feet.
They see the surface, the smile I show,
But deep within, the shadows grow.
